Links for Children
This is a great site and downloadable software if you like word searches and would like to able to make your own. A fun way to practise your spelling! You could even use a dictionary or thesaurus to find interesting words on your word search theme.
The BBC Primary Schools site is full of fun games and information. Just follow the links to your favourite subjects and off you go! There are revisions activities for Year 6 for their SATs.
This is a brilliant website with lots of fun games and activities for you to try at home. There are lots of different topics on here that will help you with homework or to practise your skills.
This is the National Archives website. If you like history or are trying to find out some information about a history topic then look here. You can find information on the Tudors, Victorians, Great Fire of London, the Railways, the Second World War, Immigration and how to use the census.
If you love science and want to try stuff at home then look here! Remember to ask your parents first before you try experiments!

Leicestershire Authority's web page with lots of general information for you including admissions procedures for entry to primary and secondary schools.
Parents Centre helps you to find information about education for all ages. They look at topics such as health, money, behaviour and discipline, bullying, using computers and the internet and school holidays.
The Maths Web site gives you step by step information on the Maths your children will be learning and how you can support them at home. There are printable leaflets for each year group from Reception to Year 6.
