• March 2020 visit to Market Overton Free Church

  On Thursday 12th March 2020, year 3&4 children visited the Market Overton Free Church to see The Big Story of the Bible: from Creation to the Gospels.

  With excellent storytelling, and engaging  actors playing out scenes, the children were fully immersed into the Bible experience.  

  Afterwards they had the opportunity to try different Bible foods. The honey and raisins were definitely a favourite! 

  The experience ended with children trying on different Bible clothes to become the characters themselves.

  

• New Football Kit

  Mrs Potter applied to the Football Premier League for our team to get a brand new kit. We were successfully chosen and this full team kit arrived in the post as a surprise. It is very smart and makes us feel part of a team. Let's hope it gives us lots of luck to win in future matches. 

  

• World Book Day

  We all enjoyed dressing up for World Book day. The costumes looked amazing.

   

  The author Grant Koper visited and read his latest book, ‘The day Granny met the Queen’. The children asked him lots of amazing and very pertinent questions about his career as an author. The children bought copies of his book which Grant signed for them.
