HOUSE TEAMS AT CROXTON KERRIAL.

Our school runs a House system; the five houses are named after the elements. The children suggested different names and voted for their favourite. 

On entry to Reception, each child is assigned a house (the same as an older sibling if applicable) and remains a member of this house throughout their years at Croxton Kerrial.

House points are awarded in class for effort, attitude and achievement and for events run at various points during the year, e.g. Sports Day, Leadership Days etc. The house system fosters good relationships between children in different year groups and encourages a sense of working together, competitive spirit, learning to accept defeat graciously alongside celebrating success.
